What our brunch looks like
FYSA's brunch was born where three cultures meet — Chinese, French and Italian — and you can see it on the table. On the sweet side, French pastry: laminated croissants, berry tartlets, a counter that changes often — and waffles with berries, syrup and ice cream. On the savoury side, plates made for a morning that drifts into the afternoon, starting with our avocado toast with scrambled eggs. And next to the plate, the part that makes us different: what you drink.
Drinks are not a side note
Our coffee is a specialty coffee roasted by Paul Arnephy — Meilleur Ouvrier de France Torréfacteur (Tribute, France), pulled on a La Marzocco and ground to order. If coffee isn't your moment, there's ceremonial-grade matcha in our signature versions, cold brew tea steeped for 12 hours, or a Chinese tea brewed without hurry. A good brunch lasts an hour — you might as well drink something that goes the distance.
The weekend — and the trick to skip the queue
Saturday and Sunday are peak brunch: the room fills up early, and around noon you may wait for a table. Two tips from behind the counter: come early (9:00–10:30 is the quietest weekend window), or do what smart locals do and come on a weekday — same menu, same kitchen, zero waiting, and the room at its most photogenic.
The place
We're in a corner of real neighbourhood Rome, far from the chaos of the centro: high ceilings, plants everywhere, a sofa to sink into and wooden tables for groups. San Giovanni / Appio Latino is one of the liveliest residential parts of Rome — and brunch is its Sunday ritual.

FYSA is at Piazza di Ponte Lungo 1, Rome — San Giovanni / Appio Latino, right on the border with the Tuscolano district: Metro A exits onto the square ("Piazza Ponte Lungo" exit, 1 minute on foot) and Roma Tuscolana train station is a few minutes away.
